From Roof to Ceiling: A Repeat Customer From Setapak Comes Back for Rumah Kasih KL
One of the best feelings in this line of work isn’t finishing a job. It’s getting a message weeks later saying “we’re back, and we brought a good reason with us.”
That’s exactly what happened this week. The same customer from our roof and awning renovation project in Setapak reached out again. This time it wasn’t for their own home. They’d just wrapped up a charity event with Rumah Kasih KL, and while they were there, they noticed the ceiling needed help too.
What They Asked For
The message was simple and direct. No long back-and-forth, just a clear list:
- Check and fix any leaking on the ceilings of the house, with a photo showing exactly where
- Look into heat insulation for the front and backyard roofing, something suggested to them earlier by another contact
They asked for a quotation first, before deciding whether to move ahead. No pressure, no rush. They just wanted to understand the numbers so they could plan properly, since the budget for this one is coming from money left over after the event with Rumah Kasih.
Why This One Means a Bit More
Rumah Kasih isn’t a regular household job. It’s a care home, and a leaking ceiling in a place like that isn’t just a maintenance issue. It’s about keeping the space safe and comfortable for the people who live there. A past customer chose to spend their own leftover charity budget making sure a care home’s ceiling gets looked at properly. That’s the kind of job we want to get right.
