Question 1

Do you provide on-site phone repair in Mont Kiara?

Accepted Answer

Yes. DoorstepFix arranges on-site phone repair at homes, condos and offices in Mont Kiara. We confirm the exact model, fault, parts and appointment before the visit. Some faults need workshop equipment.

Question 2

Which areas near Mont Kiara do you cover?

Accepted Answer

Coverage includes Mont Kiara and Sri Hartamas. Send your building or shop name and postcode to confirm service for your exact address.

Question 3

Which phone brands can you repair?

Accepted Answer

We handle supported models from Samsung, Apple iPhone, OPPO, Vivo, Realme, Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO, Huawei, Honor, OnePlus and Infinix. Send the exact model so we can confirm the required repair and available replacement parts.

Question 4

Are your replacement parts genuine OEM?

Accepted Answer

Standard replacement parts are aftermarket/compatible parts. If you want genuine OEM, ask DoorstepFix to confirm availability and a separate quotation for your model. The agreed part type is confirmed before repair.

Question 5

How long does an on-site phone repair take?

Accepted Answer

The time depends on your phone model, the fault and the replacement part. We confirm the estimated repair duration and technician arrival window before your appointment. Complex repairs may need workshop diagnosis and a separate completion estimate.

Question 6

Is same-day repair available in Mont Kiara?

Accepted Answer

Same-day slots may be available depending on parts, the repair, your address and the technician schedule. Pickup repairs also depend on workshop and courier timing. Confirm the estimated completion and return time before booking.

Question 7

How much does phone repair in Mont Kiara cost?

Accepted Answer

The quotation depends on the phone model, diagnosis, replacement part and service method. Compatible and genuine OEM options are quoted separately where available. Confirm the full cost, including any visit, diagnosis or delivery charges, before approving work.

Question 8

How does pickup and delivery work?

Accepted Answer

DoorstepFix can arrange courier collection from your agreed address, workshop repair and return delivery. Confirm the collection details, quotation, any courier charges and return arrangements first. We share repair updates and proof before payment.

Question 9

Can I choose pickup even if an on-site repair is possible?

Accepted Answer

Yes. On-site repair is available for suitable jobs, and pickup with return delivery can be arranged if that fits your schedule better. We confirm the repair method, cost and expected timing before you approve the booking.

Question 10

Do I have to share my phone password?

Accepted Answer

Most hardware repairs do not require you to share your password. If unlocking is needed to test a function, the technician explains the requirement first. During an on-site visit, you can unlock the phone yourself.

Question 11

When do I pay, and what warranty applies?

Accepted Answer

Pay after the approved repair is completed and tested, using bank transfer or DuitNow QR. No advance payment is required. For a pickup repair, proof is shared before payment. Replacement parts come with warranty coverage; confirm the applicable duration, terms and exclusions before approving work.
